“Curtis and I truly loved our one on one experience with Jashia. She provided us with important information, templates to complete a Birthing Plan, and gave us some homework to continue working on creating a healthy and positive pregnancy. During our session, child birth essentials, we were able to ask Jashia any and all of our questions, receive one on one attention and detailed and important information related to our baby’s health! I highly recommend Jashia’s services to any expecting mother and her partner!”
“Let me tell you about my midwife! I was in labor for 24hrs and she was there with me through it all. She kept me calm, coached me thru heavy contractions, and encouraged me through pushing. The birth of my daughter was not the best experience. I wanted to go without pain medication but ended up with an epidural. She was very supportive and helped me emotionally with that. She was there for me. Always asking questions and checking in. From using essential oils to massaging me and communicating with me. She kept me at peace. I highly recommend her services.”
“Jashia’s birth class is so great and informational! She is so knowledgeable and honest and truly cares about the well being of you and the baby. She takes the time to check on me and baby often and just makes sure I’m well or if I have any questions. I’m so blessed to know her and to have taken a birth class with her.”
“I am beyond grateful for the She Births from Within childbirth class. I was able to take this class virtually which was perfect as COVID was just making its way into America and meeting in person was no longer an option. Jashia made me feel confident and excited about going into labor and delivery as a first time mom. I absolutely had no idea what to expect, but by the end of our class I felt super prepared! It was actually perfect because when I finally did go into labor I was able to pinpoint exactly what my body was doing based off of the information that Jashia prepped me for. She didn’t leave one detail out - which was extremely helpful being that I was the only person in the delivery room outside of my midwife and nurses until my partner arrived.
I felt confident to advocate for myself, even in the time I was alone. Even before laboring, at my final midwifery visits I also felt more confident about speaking with my midwife about our upcoming birth plan, and actually knowing what I was talking about only have a first time mom’s perspective, but Jashia is great at reassuring you that your body and baby know what to do and that everything will be fine. And in the instance that something were to go wrong, Jashia’s education on that is also very calming and encouraging. Birthing absolutely requires education in my opinion. Had I not taken her course I would’ve been fearful of my own body and son’s arrival and that doesn’t even have to be the case! Mommas, you will feel so proud of yourself for taking this class.”
